Buick has presented its new model lineup for 2016, the 2016MY lineup. Excitement is in the air with the announcement of the newest addition to the Buick product line for 2016, and also the first convertible by Buick for North America in 25 years- introducing the Buick Cascada.
The 2016 Buick Cascada is a 2+2 convertible with a unique design, top-of-the-line luxury features, 4G LTE connectivity and premium equipment. It also boasts an innovative powertrain and advanced chassis technologies that aside from the standard turbocharged performance also include HiPer Strut front suspension. Drivers will feel the power of the 200-horsepower turbocharged engine, while enjoying a roomy and comfortable ride for 4 passengers. Many critics admire the insulated soft-top system that opens in seventeen seconds at speed of up to 31 mph. While the top is up, passengers will enjoy the thermal and acoustic insulation. This Buick also comes with IntelliLInk and 7-inch color touch screen with text message alerts, electronic rear-seat entry system, and Navigation. Safety features include rollover protection bars that deploy if rollover is detected, lane departure warning, rearview camera, rear park assist, and Rainsense windshield wipers. The Cascada’s technologies provide both comfort and refinement for a truly pleasurable driving experience.
On the exterior, the Cascada showcases a rigid body structure with high-strength steel in strategic areas for safety and superior ride quality. The design is distinctive with a windswept body line and sleek LED headlamps. The top folds down neatly and completely for a truly open-air aesthetic appeal.
Following the Cascada’s debut in Detroit earlier this year, it will be available for sale by Michigan Car Dealerships in early 2016. Additionally, small changes have been made to the current lineup for the 2016 model year, including updated infotainment systems, improved equipment features, and novel color selections.
